PURPOSE OF THE TRAINING

The aim of the training course is to comprehensively prepare participants for the independent prefabrication and cladding of ventilation ducts.

The training aims to :

  • acquiring specialised technical skills - learning practical techniques for sheet metal work , prefabrication of rectangular and circular ducts and making and assembling a substructure for ventilation systems in accordance with current norms and standards;
  • Practical problem solving - participants will learn how to deal effectively with problems related to sheet metal processing, measurements, proper placement of materials.

  • Prerequisites are at least 18 years of age and no medical contraindications to participate in the training, experience in the HVAC or related industry.
DETAILS

The training includes:

  • measurement and design;
  • technical drawings;
  • transferring drawings and measurements to sheet metal;
  • manufacture and installation of flashings on ventilation ducts
  • operation of machinery
  • scribing/ sheet metal work
  • cutting and bending of sheet metal
  • correct positioning of plates
  • fitting sheet metal to ducts
  • carrying out difficult flashings
  • making of elbow installation components (rectangular, circular, radial);
  • layout and construction of support structures.

 

The course lasts 60h of lessons.

 

There are various options for financing the course - we are a certified training centre listed in the Development Services Database of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, which enables you to take advantage of funding for our training courses from the Labour Offices, EU programmes, etc.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU

You must bring with you to the training an identity card, work clothes suitable for the outdoors, work boots, helmet, personal protective equipment (goggles, tinsmith's gloves).

The price of the training does not include the cost of accommodation and travel to our Centre.
