For whom
The training is dedicated to people who want to work in the insulation industry or who want to improve their existing qualifications. Previous experience in a related position or a passed examination from the Industrial Insulation Fitter training course is required. A prerequisite is that you are at least 18 years of age and have no medical contraindications to taking part in the training.
Details
Particular emphasis is placed on practical classes in the execution, prefabrication and jacketing of industrial insulation. The course is divided into 3 separate stages of varying levels of progression , each lasting 100h of tuition. Theoretical and practical classes include:
- familiarisation with types and methods of insulation;
- sheet metal solutions;
- flashing work;
- measurement principles;
- Fundamentals of occupational health and safety, occupational health and safety;
- basics of technical language in English.
Knowledge gained
The graduate of the Industrial Insulation Sheet Metal Worker training course will be prepared to perform the following job tasks:
- identifying principles for the design and creation of sheet metal components and their connections;
- distinguish between types of industrial insulation jackets;
- to define criteria for assessing the quality of the installation and repair of industrial insulation jackets;
- reading and drawing up flashing development drawings;
- making measurements and drawings of protective jackets of various shapes;
- the execution of all insulation jacketing components;
- independently operate sheet metal machinery and equipment, in full compliance with safe working practices.
What we provide
We provide a training room, a fully equipped workshop hall with all the necessary machinery, all insulation materials and all the necessary tools for practical exercises, refreshments - coffee, tea, mineral water, cakes, lunch.
What you need to bring with you
You must bring with you to the training an identity card, work clothes suitable for outdoor conditions, work boots, helmet, personal protective equipment (goggles, gloves).
What the price does not include
The price of the training does not include the cost of accommodation and travel to our Centre.
