For whom

The training is designed for:

• working in the insulation industry in independent positions;
• fitters wishing to further their training in theoretical and practical elements according to NORSOK M-004:2018.
• Requirements: experience as an industrial insulation fitter for a minimum of two years or completion of the Industrial Insulation Fitter course at our Training Centre.
• The prerequisite is that you are at least 18 years old and have no medical contraindications to participate in the training.

Details

Norsok M-004:2018 is one of the most demanding certifications of an insulator's competence.

As with all our training courses, here too we place particular emphasis on practical classes in the installation of various classes of industrial insulation and sheet metal jacketing.

The training includes full theoretical and practical preparation necessary to pass the exam according to NORSOK M-004:2018 standards. We work with the following insulation materials: foamglass (foamed glass) , PIR, pyrogel, armaflex, wool on mesh, wool in slate, firemata, GRP, sheet metal protection jackets. We practice the installation of elbows, reductions, tricks, plugs, boxes, etc.

Knowledge gained

The Training graduate will be prepared to pass the NORSOK M-004:2018 examination.

What we provide

We provide a training room, a fully equipped workshop hall with all the necessary machinery, all insulation materials and all the necessary tools for practical exercises, refreshments - coffee, tea, mineral water, cakes, lunch.

What you need to bring with you

You should bring your identity card, work clothes suitable for outdoor conditions, work boots, helmet, personal protective equipment (goggles, gloves) to the training. Two 35×45 photos.

What the price does not include

The price of the training does not include the cost of accommodation and travel to our Centre.
